Sons of the Forest Patch 10: New Building Options, Large Log Holder, Frank and More

The developers at Endnight Games have been hard at work since Sons of the Forest launched into early access earlier this year, adding a variety of content from quality of life improvements, new features, bug fixes and more.

Since it first dropped in February, developers have added a variety of building options, enemy types, locations to explore, vehicles (like a one-wheel and the golf cart!), and tons more.

Patch 10 continues the trend by adding stone building options with floors, along with wood railings, corner ramps, a large log holder, a decorative deer rug (more cosmetics pleaseeee). Keldon also has some new emotes!

There is also a new enemy type named Frank who pours vodka on himself and sets himself on fire when near the player, and developers have increased the variety of cannibal raids, along with behaviors including the ability to carry fire torches, and following gold mask leaders.

The update also continues to improve story content, with a new introduction video for guests at Holosprings (viewable in the entertainment bunker) and a visual re-work the gold room cutscene.

Developers also implemented a new option for hosts in multiplayer games to block cheats, a new subtitle system, along with a number of other fixes and improvements detailed in the full patch notes below. I’ve also included the patch notes for the previous nine content updates just to catch players up if they played at launch or wanted to see how the game has changed since launch and from initial reviews.
